$LANTERN: the paid CTO
A dead coin "revived" by a takeover crew that owned most of the supply before the first post.
Share on XA composite exhibit showing how a community takeover can be used as a setup.
What happened
A dead coin sat at $20K for days. A small group bought most of the supply that was still for sale, spread across several wallets. Then they announced a CTO: new logo, new website, new X account and a wave of posts from accounts that had never mentioned it before.
New buyers saw a revived coin with a fresh team and a clean chart. Within two hours it reached $300K. The takeover wallets sold into that demand.
What was visible before the dump
- The wallets behind the CTO all bought in the days before the announcement, while the coin was dead.
- Together they held over 40% of the supply.
- The "community" posting about it had no history with the coin.
The tell
Ask when the people promoting a CTO bought. If they own most of it from the bottom, the CTO is their exit plan.
Lesson: a CTO is only as good as the people who hold. Check when the loudest holders bought.
