Payouts
Where the money comes from, how much contributors earn, and how payouts are made public.
Contributors are paid in SOL from the creator fees of the Trenchive coin on pump.fun.
Where the money comes from
pump.fun pays coin creators a share of the trading fees on their coin. Those fees go to the Trenchive treasury wallet. A fixed share of each month's fees is set aside for contributors.
How much you earn
Each approved piece earns a payout based on its type and depth:
| Type | Typical payout |
|---|---|
| Glossary term | Small, paid in batches |
| Fix or update | Small |
| Basics article | Medium |
| Coin story | Medium to large |
| Rug Museum exhibit | Large, because tracing wallets takes time |
Exact amounts depend on how much the treasury collected that month. They are announced with each payout round.
How payouts are made
- Payouts are sent to the Solana wallet you entered when you submitted.
- Every payout is a public on-chain transaction.
- Every payout is listed on Write & earn with the date, writer, piece and transaction.
What we never do
- Pay for coverage of a coin.
- Pay in anything other than SOL without announcing it.
- Hide a payout. If it is not on the list, it did not happen.
