Choosing a terminal

Axiom, Photon, GMGN and BullX compared on the things that actually matter in week one.

1 min read

A trading terminal is a website (sometimes with a Telegram bot) that shows new coins, charts and holders, and lets you buy or sell in one click. Almost every trencher uses one. Trading pump.fun coins through a normal wallet is possible, but slow.

The main names

TerminalKnown for
AxiomFast, clean interface, popular for pump.fun trading
PhotonOne of the earliest Solana terminals, simple layout
GMGNLots of data: wallet tracking, smart money, holder analysis
BullXMulti-chain, strong charting

They all do the same core things. Pick one, learn it well, and only switch when you know what you are missing.

What to compare

  • Fees. Most charge around 1% per trade, on top of network fees and tips. On small trades this adds up fast. Check the current rate on each site.
  • Wallet setup. Most terminals create a trading wallet for you. You fund it from your main wallet and keep only trading money there.
  • Speed. How quickly your buy lands matters most on fresh launches. Speed depends on the priority fee and tip you set more than on the terminal itself.
  • Holder tools. Bundle flags, dev tags, sniper counts. You want these visible before you click buy.
Fake terminals

Phishing copies of every terminal exist. Type the address yourself or use a bookmark. Never connect your wallet through a link from a DM or a reply.
